I’m bringing a complete comparison between the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Sony Xperia S. Analyze different aspects of both smartphones and try to figure out which is best.
Sony Xperia S vs Samsung Galaxy S2
Launched nearly a year apart, the Sony Xperia S and Galaxy S2 are not that different, but there is more that unites than the difference: both are emblematic androids with dual core processors and 4.3″ screens.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S2 is the flagship of Samsung, while the Xperia S is the best and brightest new device from Sony NXT series, so it seemed interesting to compare the two smartphones to see which was better.

The Sony Xperia S has a 4.3 inch capacitive screen (720 x 1280 pixels) with a 720p resolution (342ppi), a dual core processor at 1.5GHz Scorpion, 1 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory (can not be extended), motor BRAVIA mobile phone and a 12 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash LED that can record video at 1080p, showing a significant advantage compared to most new phones with 12Mp camera.
In terms of connectivity, the Xperia S supports GSM 2G and 3G HSDPA, has facilities GPRS and EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi Hotspot, DLNA, Bluetooth 2.1 and NFC. It also has a Li-ion 1750 mAh battery, has the following dimensions 128 x 64 x 10.6 mm and weighs 144 grams.

As we see, both smartphones have several similar features but also some differences that tip the balance for either side. Let us see in what respects each phone is better than the other.
Advantages of the Sony Xperia S on the Galaxy S2:
- 4.3-inch screen 720p (342ppi) versus 4.3-inch WVGA (217ppi)
- Camera of 12mp against 8MP
- Scorpion 1.5GHz processor against the Cortex-A9 CPU at 1.2GHz
